I'm asking you to endulge me this post. It's important to me, and a lot of other people. I like Ralph Nader...a lot. If you haven't heard, he's running for president. Now before you start making all the assumptions that you might when you hear the name "Ralph Nader", give him another chance. I'm not asking you to agree with me. I'm asking you to take some time to get to know him, then make your own decision. You can visit his website to find out what Nader will do for us.
IF YOU LIVE IN SALT LAKE CITY you have the chance to ask Nader your questions personally via phone. There is a House Party for Nader Saturday July 26th in the Harvard/Yale neighborhood from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. If you want the exact address email me and I'll give it to you. Then there is a rally at Libby Gardner Hall at the University of Utah July 31st where Nader will be there in person, and you can get a better feel for him as a person.
Thank you for the indulgence. I ask that you simply be informed. Loves to you all!

I heard him speak once. I was VERY surprised, he wasn't the Nader the media and others made him out too be. I liked what he had to say. I think he's the only presidential candidate(or politician for that matter) who I actually felt believed in what he was saying.
to everyone who has not taken time to research nader's positions, please go to www.votenader.org.
the thing I like best about nader is that he is willing to acknowledge the roots of problems and talk about them boldly and because he is trying to help America not be hypocritical or unfair in the demands it places on the world. Also, he takes on corporate influence, which is at the root of so many of our problems. for more info, listen to this interview about the democratic national convention.

Well, I'm in love with Obama at the moment (I know, very original), but I've got plenty of the loves for Ralphy too!
I saw a documentary about him at Sundance Film Festival a couple years ago and really became a Nader fan. He doesn't deserve the bad rep, only much praise! I LOVE political posts.
I didn't even know he was running again. EEK! I'm out of touch! I've been taking a break from politics for a while because I got too wrapped up in it. This was good for me.
