i am feeling that i want silence forever more...
over the weekend we lost a dear friend,
a woman that i adored and was getting to know
as she started the search for her voice with the rest
of us women in our little writing group.
but we all knew that she had already found her voice,
she was so articulate and beautiful as she spoke.
i will forever remember her sitting on my couch
in the lamplight opening up her heart and her mind.
i dearly love this woman, midwife, friend.
