the lake district :: film

3.16.2012

the lovely thing about film is that i don't usually develop it for moths,
which makes for a lovely surprise when i finally do.
i took these images while on a little hike in the lake district last summer.
i could really go for some fog and green pastures about now.

we're off for a little spring break trip down south to the desert,
not exactly a place of green pastures and fog,
but beautiful and healing nonetheless.

do you have any plans for the weekend? celebrating st. patrick's day?
i think we might write some limericks.

happy weekend.

That second photo down is just perfect, all of these photos made me so happy!! I could really use a walk on a country road and some green pastures right about now.

PS. I'm a tiny embarrassed that I'm always re-pinning your pins on pinterest. But they're always the exact kind of pins I'm looking for. :) You just have really good taste, so hopefully you take it as a compliment and don't think I'm a creeper, ha ha.

I'm about to pick up some developed film today - one of my very favorite things to do!!

Love these; especially the one with the tiny looking cows dotted all over the green.

happy weekend!

that first picture is incredibly dreamy. Looks like straight out of a fairy tale. I love to shoot film too, but I can't develop on my own... so it's more expensive and this makes me shoot with a digital camera all the time. But film has something more. It's imperfectly beautiful.

So absolutely beautiful. I miss England!! I spent a summer in London several years ago and got to travel all over, it was magical. Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog!
