Spent an afternoon reading through Kate Spade's Manners. I must admit I love, love, love learning about etiquette and social graces...not that I want to stick my nose in the air or roll my eyes whenever "the rules" are broken, but because I think manners and etiquette are the ultimate thoughtfullness to the details. I like to know that those around me are comfortable and at ease.
One of my dream vacations would be to go to England and spend a week with an etiquette expert to get me into tip-top shape. I don't even know how to go about finding someone who does that!

Ann Marie - I love reading how much you appreciate good etiquette. I want to introduce myself - I am certified etiquette professional (CEP) and Executive Director of the International Society of Protocol & Etiquette Professionals. If you ever want to chat about etiquette, I would be happy to with you.
All the best,

One of the good things about etiquette is that it brings refinement into people's lives. Helping others feel comfortable is good because it will bring us to think of others, and not feel entitled to being first.
