may day...which is yes

5.01.2012

i've been so busy, and so caught up in planning my trip to europe,
writing articles, finishing finals for school, and moving
that i sort of forgot how close my very own mountains are to me...
so this morning i took a quick detour up the canyon to visit
the trees, the river, and to take deep breaths. what a detour.

seriously can't believe my luck that we live in such a brilliant landscape.
i've decided that we must take advantage, and we'll be headed up
to the mountains for picnic lunches as much as we can.

i'm giddy about getting outside to the mountains. they're so close!

happy may day!

A beautiful paean to the world and to the rush of life within our chests. Thank you.

This is where I want to be right now. These mountains or any mountains. Any woods. To say goodbye to the city for an afternoon, a week, more.

Yes to e.e. Always yes.

After I graduate, I must find a place near the mountains to live.

Love your photos, like always. Really good work and really good storytelling with quotes.
