I've been thinking that there should be more occassions to recieve and carry around bouquets...not just on a wedding day. Or maybe a bouquet on your wedding day is kind of like Christmas...if Christmas were more than once a year it wouldn't be as exciting-so if we had bouquets more often it wouldn't be as special on our wedding day.
So maybe what I'm trying to say is I need to pick out my fresh flowers more deliberately. I try to keep fresh flowers in my house at all times, but often I just hurry and pick out a pre-made bouquet at a farmer's market. Perhaps I should start paying a few extra bucks to get a florist to order me some of my favorite arrangements.

What a lovely idea! I was just at Liberty Heights market in Sugar House yesterday and the flowers were so beautiful. The peonies!!! But,5 bucks a pop, so I didn't splurge but I already regret it. Life is too short not to be surrounded by the gorgeous little loves.
I am buying a bouquet next time I'm in town! They're worth the money...it's all about priorities. I'm sure I could do without something of less importance in exchange for beauty!
Peonies and ranuculas are my absolute favorites! I would love to have bouquets of them for special occasions.
