cabin living is miraculous: running in cool mountain air every morning, driving along dirt roads
to visit my sister at the other cabin, hiking along rivers through forests that smell like earth, eating tomatoes from the garden, making homemade buttermilk ice cream...and best of all, we escaped the hot summer temperatures of the valley. i pretended it was already fall: i wore jeans and plaid button-up shirts, sweaters, down vests, and my boots. i listened to fall playlists and looked for the first leaves that have already changed to red, yellow, orange.
hoping to post more photos later today, and give you an update of what's happening now that i'm
finally settling back home after a summer away at school {hint: more school...yippee!}

these photos LOOK like fall...i guess it's the diffused golden glow :) enjoy the air!
I have a sweet little dream to live in a cabin. There is nothing like being in the mountains.
Photos are lovely. Would you share your fall play list?
For me, Fall starts September 1st. In a couple days it will be 'pumpkin pancake making' season ;)
Such beautiful pictures.
By the way, I thought I was the only one making 'fall playlists', I'm glad I'm not the only one!
What's on your playlist?
