so. very. busy.
but my to-do list has been much more enjoyable these past couple of days, and it keeps getting better:
:: take sister's family photos on their beautiful property in the desert
:: finally meet newest nephew, now 4 months old, in person...he's happily getting chubbier by the minute
:: accompany pretty violins playing pretty christmas carols
:: annual family gingerbread decorating extravaganza
:: put my house back in order after a week of neglect
:: pull out my own violin after two weeks of neglect
:: write, write, write for my new secret project
:: finally learn some new photo skills from this incredible photographer
:: bake, bake, bake (mostly gingerbread and shortbread!)
:: grab tea with another fantastic photographer
:: finalize taking more classes for graduate degree...can hardly wait to be surrounded by books and good discussion again
i'll be in and out...hopefully back soon with lots of photos to share

Wow! What a list! and all good stuff (minus perhaps the house cleaning bit). That photo! Almost made me lose my breath! Look at the mountains!!! I visit the Rockies almost every year and I miss them terribly the rest of the year.
Wow - you ARE busy but like you said, with all good things. Especially baking, writing, and meeting chubby babies for the first time. ;)

Much of that sounds like a great to-do list to me. I'm not so sure about the housework part but meeting a new nephew.. sounds wonderful. As does just about everything else. Enjoy your time.. it sounds like you will.
You have a lot of awesomeness on your plate! Get that violin out, ASAP :)
My list is growing day by day and ... day, they are too short!
Would I do it all the time? I would like landscapes of snow this Christmas .. but snow is rare in my area!
beautiful days of preparation for Christmas!
congratulations on your tree!
