november feels like fog...my favorite

i'm always so sad to see october go...so it's a good thing november

comes to my rescue with cold, foggy, and dreary weather.

this morning it's raining. i love the contrast of gray skies

with the golden leaves still hanging on the trees.

i love this view from my window.

earlier we said "see you soon" to our dear friend, marte

who has started her journey home to norway.

it was such a treat to have her here for ten whole days.

due to the combination of the beautiful rain and a temporary goodbye

i crawled back in bed to listen to the weather outside.

i skipped my morning run to eat toast smothered in honey butter,

and browsed through old black & white photos of fog.

am in love with november, even if it's not quite october.
