back in the states : what adventures ceej has had

ceej has been keeping quite busy with his own adventures:

he spent two weeks in the philippines, has been climbing and skiing (both snow & water),

and just got back from a weekend of climbing with his good friend, james.

though i am totally loving my environment here in england

i have to admit that i am longing for the mountains and the desert of the west.

by the way, it's august. can you believe it?

i've been here in england for a month.

one more week to go.

it's going to be stressful as i try to make sense

of my paper: soundscapes of poetry and sermons in early modern england.

what have i got myself into? this is the work for a PhD, not a little ol' grad student.

just wish i had more time and more useful knowledge already sitting in my head

waiting to fall out onto the page to make it all come together.
