if i'm not careful my entire house will be filled with different versions of these nightstands...i love them!

i finished my nightstands over the weekend!!!
i'm quite in love with them, and they were super simple.
i could have completed them within two days,
but the schedule didn't allow it, so it took me
a couple of weeks as i worked on them a few minutes
here and a few minutes there.
what do you think?

materials: poplar wood, all-thread, nuts, non-toxic wood stain
tools: power drill, paint brush, wrench

they were so so so easy to make (once i got over my fear of the drill).
would you be interested in a how-to tutorial, or is this pretty obvious?

Good job.

If I weren't headed for RV living and travel, I would be thrilled with a tutorial. I'm sure there are others who would love a "how to".

Thank you.

This has inspired me to make a coffee table along the same idea - I just returned from the lumber yard (where my friend works) & we picked out a beautiful piece of poplar that we are butterflying together as the top w/ threaded legs liek this. i'll send pics when done.

What a wonderful idea (and beautiful photographs)! I would love to have a tutorial to see how to make them myself. Thanks!

Really really lovely tables (?). Would love a tutorial!

And by the way - loving your photos - and just a teensy bit envious of how goo they are! :-)

I would love a "how to"... yes, it could be figured out on my own, but I like the little tips in a tutorial from someone who has already been there & done that. ;)

Is there a tutorial that I missed? I would love to see it and be able to make one (or 4) of these. Thanks!
