ceej is away this weekend, exploring mountains for "work."
so i'm planning on a quiet weekend around the apartment:
lots of knitting, practicing the piano, and reading.
i'm most excited to start re-reading
wallace stegner's crossing to safety.
i love terry tempest williams introduction to the book:
"crossing to safety is a novel about gifts: the gifts of
our talents; the gifts of our shortcomings, which allow us to grow;
the gifts of a marriage; the gifts of our friendships;
the gifts of what endures and what falls away;
the gift of a good life and the gift of a good death."
happy weekend!

My brothers favorite author is Wallace Stegner. All the Little Live Things is his favorite book. Have a great weekend!
I have a really quiet weekend ahead of me as well, and I can't wait to get some reading done. I am finally reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and am so excited to get beyond chapter one. ;)
