Oh, wonderful! It is still so hot here in the South, I am dreaming of autumn, though! What a lovely, thoughtful blog you have, so happy to be your newest follower!

so beautiful. i just sat and listened. what a lovely, old , and perfect piano! my father is a pianist and my parents still have the old upright from when they were first married, the first piece of furniture they bought together. the sound is so familiar and reminds me so much of my childhood. thanks for sharing this.

Frances,

my younger brother is a wonderful musician, and he sat down for a few minutes and figured out this song for me, transcribed it, and emailed me the music...lucky me to have such a talented and kind brother ;)

Yes he does sound like a very kind brother:) like Laurie huh from Little woman hahah!:)

Ann Marie, just had to ask because I love it so much. but do you mind me asking if you could email the music to me? Then I could ask my younger sister to play it for me and the house would be filled with this music:)

Please just ignore the request if it in anyway offends you! or if your brother's translation is something private and special to you:)

Thank you so much for sharing your life through this blog with all of us

that was so sweet.
when I am a successful older woman I think i might just pay someone to come play music like that in my house while I work.

Little Women..... Beth's song! I've played this by ear, but I am not a brilliant transcriber nor composer and it lacks depth.

I adore this! I beg a boon of you.... could you email it to me as well? Please, oh please?
