Your fall and winter clothes are always my favorite. Hands down.
Your catalog gets prettier and prettier.
Prague? Of course.
I want to buy such lovely things from you, BUT
I can only do that if you break up with your best friends...
You know, the ones who work so hard for you in countries far away from here.
I'd pay good money for a golden pea coat that was made domestically
And I knew the workers were paid a living wage.
Oh, and one more thing. Please start using environmentally responsible materials and manufacturing processes.

Their catalog IS so beautiful.
ann I love you so much. I miss you and your ardor and earnestness.
It is really exciting to share your move toward being more political. What I love about the move you are making is that you are seeking for justice without sacrificing the need for aesthetics...a very hard thing to do.
Even though I have not personally read her books, it sounds like you would be very interested in Emma Goldman. She was an anarchist who wore fancy dresses to all the anarchist protests and who did not believe in some bland robin hood communism but in a beautiful world where everyone could have lovely, well-made things. There are obviously problems with this idea, but I thought you would love it like I do. Also, and good news for ceej, there is an emma goldman finishing school, too--anarchist etiquette!
love you ash! Thanks for the awesome tip...i'll look into it straight away!
Thanks for bringing us back to reality, my dear.
