This is my beautiful grandmother, Celia Jane. I just finished a lovely telephone conversation with her and my grandpa, Newel. Grandpa is always very insightful and happy to hear from me. Grandma loves to talk about girl stuff: relationships, kids, and cooking. Tonight she told me her favorite cake is Angel Food, and she's been craving it lately. Loves to you both!Angel

Don't you love those curtains? That is typical Grandma. She loves bright, bold colors and design. Also the TV was one of the first. I think it was a 7 inch screen. They were pretty excited about it. Also, the doily on the back of the chair was a common way of decorating. I have wanted to do that, but haven't.
