Here we were early on in our 11-hour drive to the Land of Opportunity. In the top photo you can see our sweet 1970-something Schwinn bicycles we snatched from my mom's garage. The photo below shows our Penske passing the
Utah Tree.
Don't worry. For all of you who plan on driving out to see us, the drive should take only 9 hours. That Penske was always askin' for gas, and had a hard time over some of the mountain passes.

The good news is you had a new moving truck. When I drove Mia's U-Haul. It puffed black smoke the whole time and I think the fastest we went was 45 MPH. The other cars had to keep stopping and waiting for us to catch up. The joy of moving!!!
Is that white on the ground, snow? Those bikes will serve you well.
The white on the ground is the Salt Flats.
